Compelling New Dashboard Platform from Google

The Google Sites platform is now available and all of the business dashboard community should immediately explore this new option for BI dashboarding. At least for quick mockups and prototypes, although you’ll find them quite suitable for standalone business dashboard applications. The Google Sites Dashboard is part of the Google Apps offerring.       Google are so cool. They really provide a very easy way of creating BI dashboards, even for non professionals.

      However, they are still lacking, very much like the rest of the dashboard providers, in intergarting extensive analytic capabilities.

      I use Google Site and I don’t think it is a “non professional” tool : powerful but quiet uneasy to use for everyone !
      I found another free dashboarding tool based on Google Docs spreadsheet that is aimed to allow “non professionals” to design cool BI dashboards : livedashboard4team.org
