A Dashboard Spy reader asked me to point him to a source of marketing metrics specifically about measuring sentiment and “share of voice”. I thought I’d share a great marketing dashboard example on this. First, visit my post at Digital Dashboards for the post titled Media Coverage Dashboard – Public Relations Metrics.
The example is from a company that tracks over 8,000 media sources and determines your “Share of Voice” and the “tone” of the mentions. Meaning whether they are favorable in tone or a negative mention.
Some of the key metrics include: Share of Voice, share of market, press release tracking, mentions of the CEO, media spend and other financials, media communication headcount, and other metrics (both quantitative and qualitative – see the diagram below).
